Paint a beautiful Scottish Ptarmigan against a snowy backdrop with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam. Follow the demonstration step by step, using techniques such as wet-in-wet, feathering, masking, and more experimental texture techniques.

Pencils
Drawing paper or sketchbook
Watercolour Paper (Cold Pressed, A4) plus some paper for testing colours
Paintbrushes
Watercolour Paint
Palette
Water Pots
Paper Towels/Kitchen Paper
Spray/Misting Bottle (Optional)
Masking Fluid (Removable) and Soap/Washing up Liquid (Optional but recommended)
White gouache (as an alternative to masking fluid, Optional)
Salt (Optional)
Granulation medium (Optional)
Acrylic ink (Optional)
