Did you know that the 3rd of February is Golden Retriever Day? Let’s celebrate this beloved breed of dog, known for their intelligence, loyalty, and friendly nature by drawing a cute Golden Retriever puppy in coloured pencil. In this workshop you will learn to draw a realistic puppy portrait and create fur textures using coloured pencil techniques with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam.  There will be a step-by-step drawing demonstration, looking at shape, form and anatomy, coloured pencil techniques such as shading, indenting, blending, feathering, scumbling and layering colours plus lots of drawing tips along the way.

4hrs of tuition plus PDF of slides and reference photos.

Materials 

H or HB pencil for initial drawing
Coloured pencils
White Drawing paper (A4)
Paper blending stump
Erasers (putty rubber, fine tip eraser etc.)
Pencil sharpener
Indenting or embossing tool
Colourless Blender pencil (optional)
