A Greyscale Reference photo -
printed out.
• Willow charcoal
• Drawing/cartridge paper or a
sketchbook (A4/A3 size
suggested, you are welcome to go
larger if possible!)
• Putty rubber
• Eraser
• Spray Fixative or hairspray
• Paper/sketchbook for practice and
notes
• Compressed charcoal (optional)
• Charcoal pencils (optional)
• Chalk (optional)
• Blending stumps, tortillion or
other tools e.g. cotton buds,
make up applicators, cloth…
(optional)
• An Apron and something to cover
your table with; if using charcoal
be prepared for mess!
