Let’s Draw Deer!

2-Hour Animal Drawing Workshop

Learn how to draw a selection of deer species with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam.  There will be step-by-step demonstrations, exploring anatomy, showing you how to build up sketches using simple shapes, make gesture drawings and a more finished study. You will have the opportunity to draw from a range of photo references. There will be exploration of pencil and charcoal techniques, tone, texture and lots of drawing tips along the way. This workshop is suitable for all, including beginners and the perfect way to practice your drawing skills.

You will need:

There are no set materials, and you are free to use any additional supplies but it is recommended you have:

·         Pencil

·         Lots of paper or a sketchbook (A4 or A3 size suggested)

·         Willow charcoal / charcoal pencils (optional)

·         Coloured pencils (optional)
