Pen and wash workshop: Waves (workshop Recording)
Create a pen and wash painting of a wave approaching the shore with guidance from Tutor Bethany Y Milam. In this workshop you will learn how to use pen or line techniques then build up layers of colour and tone to create a gently crashing wave. We will explore the shape and anatomy of a wave and how create an impression of seafoam and moving water. Follow the demonstration step by step, using pen and wash techniques, including contour and expressive linework, washes and glazes.
